When we’re in the midst of difficult times, we desperately want life to be different.

We wish to be anywhere but here.

When we try to change our circumstances or force things to happen a certain way, it's normal to experience a great deal of frustration.

We don’t have control over external factors - but we can change the way we look at them or feel about them.

But the shift needs to happen on the inside first.

The transformations that take place in your inner world are powerful. They turn you into a magnet for what you want in life.

You Are Changing

You are writing a new story.

A beautiful journey is about to unfold.

You’re not the person you once were. You’re experiencing a change in self-perception. Commit to nurturing this newer version of yourself.

Allow yourself to rediscover what you enjoy!

You have the freedom to explore life with a new perspective. What has been true in the past doesn’t have to be true in the future as well.

  • Embrace the light.
  • Focus on just making one small change at a time.

Even one tiny change can compound over time and bring about powerful transformations in your life.

You Have Grown so Much

You’ve experienced a unique combination of events that made you who you are today.

You’ve transformed in so many ways. You’ve hit the reset button.

Now, you are seeing things differently.

So start out with a clean slate!

Stop replaying the past in your mind. Decide that you will no longer allow yourself to be paralyzed by what has already happened.

Get ready to embrace what lies ahead.

Don’t give up on your deepest desires just yet. Very soon, you will be in the midst of what you once considered impossible. Don’t be surprised if you receive an amazing opportunity out of the blue.

You are attracting more circumstances, people, and events that will make you realize that all of your sacrifices were worth it.

It will all just click.

Make Each Moment Count

Every moment is unique. You will never experience the same moment again. The little lessons that you learn every single day will allow you to experience the richness of life.

It’s time to take back your power and heal your wounds.

Live your life based on your truth.

Recognize the value of the present. Make each moment count.

Embracing Change - The End of the Month Motivational Message - January 2024

Many people tend to assume that January sets the tone for the rest of the year.

As though, if something bad happens in the first month of the year, they think that the whole year will turn out to be a disaster.

Let this be your reminder that it is not true!

You don't know what this year will bring.

Perhaps it will happen in the blink of an eye. Or maybe it will be one of those years that seem to drag on forever.

You can't control what happens, but you can choose to embrace every experience with openness.

You can change your story when you want to!

There will likely be many changes throughout the coming year. Sometimes things will work out with ease, and sometimes, you will come across obstacles that'll make you want to give up.

But when you believe in your own strength, change won't seem too intimidating.

You've been applying lessons you have learned over the years. You're getting better at dealing with challenging situations.

Have faith in your ability to adapt. You will make things work in your favor.

Do your best to process your experiences in a way that brings more peace into your life.

Everything will fall into place.

Let go of your inhibitions and try more things out of your comfort zone. Challenge yourself to do things you wouldn't usually do.

You need to truly believe that everything will eventually fall into place.

Focus on joy.

Ride out the difficult times by practicing gratitude, focusing on little things that bring you joy, and having faith in the inherent goodness of life.

Don't let the negative emotions bring you down!

The beauty of life can sometimes be overshadowed by unpleasant experiences, but it can never be outweighed.

Open your heart to miracles and beautiful surprises.

Don't let a limited perception of reality keep you from embracing the wonderful experiences that are in store for you!

Throwback: Embrace Imperfection - January 2023 End of the Month Message

The first month of 2023 is about to end.

What was it like? Good? Bad? Maybe a little of both?

Take a moment to reflect on all that has happened this month.

Are you happy with the way you handled the setbacks you faced this month?

If not, what would you like to do differently?

The goal here is not to punish yourself for your shortcomings. Rather, you want to make space for healing.

Remind yourself of the Monthly Motivational Message from the beginning of January.

Embrace Imperfection

This is a gentle reminder for you to embrace imperfection.

It's time to redefine what success truly looks like to you. Let go of comparison to take the pressure off yourself. Give yourself permission to move forward at your own pace.

Be mindful of your internal dialogue. Notice how you deal with self-critical thoughts. The more you practice self-awareness, the easier it will become for you to replace a bad habit with a good one.

Work towards your goals from a place of self-compassion. Be your own cheerleader.

Embracing imperfection is all about making space for mistakes, and consequently, learning and growth.

Experiencing setbacks doesn't mean that all your efforts are wasted. Setbacks and mistakes are proof that you are willing to take risks and do things out of your comfort zone.

Trust yourself to make the best out of what you have.

You will figure it out as you go.

You're still worthy, and valuable, even if you stumble on the way to achieving your goals.

Small Progress is Still Progress!

Despite the obstacles you come across in your journey, you can still achieve growth, and find happiness. Life is messy yet beautiful. Enjoy where you are now. Celebrate the positive lifestyle changes you've made this month.

Small progress is still progress.

Imperfect progress is still progress. Your efforts are worthwhile.

I love the content here! Thank you for being there 4 me! Sometimes it's a real struggle to soak in what's said. I guess that's when it is the most applicable...

    • Sarah @ Daily Motivation says:

Be kind to yourself Randall! Personal development and growth is not a race. Some days you are more open to things than others as well. Something you read a week ago may become clear when you're off doing something else entirely!! Let it absorb. 🙂

  • Tammy says:

This has been vital in my everyday life thank you for the wisdom and insight.

  • Donna says:

I just don't understand why this is happening. I never felt so incomplete and sad. My all has been taken away. I have been put in the situation of certain things that concern me and I know it will be a problem. I don't compare myself with anyone with something that not understanding to me. I have been traumatized and it isn't the same, I do feel the presence of the Father. I am very aware of a lot but to have my concern about myself and what I need for myself doesn't help. I appreciate everything I have and do but I see no win situation and I try to see what I can do without consequences.

  • Mae says:

The above is one of the Best messages I’ve received. In my relocation from mid Canada to Hfx I’ve had major renovations & a setback with one which had to be completely re done, costing me twice the amount I planned.I also lost contact with previous friends making me sad. I do realise worse things can happen after loosing my husband to cancer which help pull me through. The best thing is to keep saying I’ll get thru this. Your message also helped me look at when things go wrong, reinforcing how we are still important & worthwhile. Thanks so much!

    • Sarah @ Daily Motivation says:

Wow, it sounds like you've been through a lot Mae. Hopefully you are through the worst of your renovations and can reconnect with some of your friends, they probably miss you too! Be kind to yourself 🙂

  • Teresa says:

The year didn’t start well & as it progressed there was back stabbing & secrecy in planning in a group that I run. They were excluding me. This was hurtful & very upsetting for me. Now I’m recovering in great pain from a knee replacement operation. But these words encouraged me to keep going!!

    • Sarah @ Daily Motivation says:

That sounds awful Teresa. At least you recognized what those people were doing, although that probably doesn't make you feel better. We are wishing you luck on your knee recovery and that you have other people in your life who will support you. Take care of yourself. 🙂

  • Sonti says:

The year didn't start so well for me. I lost contact with De loved one's, thank u for De msg it really touch me

  • Debra Wills says:

These readings have given me some type of hope! I have been in a very dark place like in a tunnel and can't get out! I feel very secluded! My two best friends who were like sisters to me have passed this past year and now it is very hard for me to make friends because I am afraid I will lose them also!

    • Sarah @ Daily Motivation says:

Oh Debra, we're so sorry for your loss, that must be very difficult. Of course you would feel afraid to get close to anyone else for fear of going through the same pain. Is there anyone else in your world who you could spend time with or talk to? Feeling secluded might make it harder for you to leave that dark tunnel. Have you read our article on 7 Practical Ways to Help You Release Sorrow and Grief? It may have some helpful information for you. We are sending you positivity and more hope that you will get through this.

  • Donna says:

The tail end of December and all of January has repeatedly just kept kicking me. Almost every single day there is something else. How do I look on the bright side of all of this? A person can only take so much!

    • Sarah @ Daily Motivation says:

Hi Donna, I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling kicked lately. It's such a hard time of year in general too and there's a lot going on in the world. My best advice would be to not feel like you HAVE to see the bright side all the time. That can make you feel even worse sometimes. You don't want to get pulled down with negativity and worry, but you also don't want to shove down feelings that you are uncomfortable with either. Maybe try to untangle some of the things that are getting to you and focus on what you CAN do about them and what you CAN'T. Sometimes, focusing on smaller things that can give you a win can get you back on track sooner than just painting on a sunny smile and trying to get on with it. You are definitely not alone, thank you for speaking up, I'm sure there are a lot of people feeling this way right now. Take care 😊
